King Henry VIII makes a royal progress through Gloucestershire in 1535. With him are Queen Anne Boleyn, Thomas Cromwell and a large trail of courtiers, soldiers and servants. But this is not just a chance for the people to greet their king, but an exercise in royal power against the backdrop of the reformation.
