An Unfinished Masterpiece

Woodchester Mansion is a Grade I listed house in the Victorian Gothic style. It is unique because it is unfinished, so offers the opportunity to see how a house of this period was constructed.
In her talk, Woodchester Mansion volunteer and trustee, Liz Davenport will explore the development of the Mansion using surviving contemporary drawings and ar-chive material from the Leigh family who commissioned the building.
She will explain why the building was never completed and update us on the lat-est conservation work.
